2023 Fume Blanc

Our 2023 Fume Blanc is barrel fermented Sauvignon Blanc from the Umpqua Valley. Fermented in neutral French oak barrels develops complexity and structure in the wine. After fermentation we stir the barrels weekly to extract richness from the yeast, which is called sur lie aging.

Tasting Notes: You will notice the bright straw color with beautiful clarity. Hints of stone fruit, guava and pineapple on the nose with a touch of dry grass. Rich flesh and yeasty density in the mid palate, with a crisp and dry finish with balanced acidity.
